Donor Egg IVF in the U.S.

Traveling to GIVF

Genetics & IVF Institute is located in Fairfax, Virginia, which is a suburb of Washington, DC.  The vast majority of patients will only need to travel to the U.S. one time during the course of their treatment cycle. The length of stay can vary based on a number of factors, but the average stay is about one week.

Please note: It is important not to make any non-refundable or unchangeable plans in advance. Dates for treatment cycles are our best estimates, but can vary based on both the donor or the recipient’s response to medication. Using frozen donor eggs will cut down on the uncertainty, but there is always the chance that your body may not be ready to start when we planned or may take longer than average to reach the point of being ready for embryo transfer.

The Washington, DC area offers plenty of opportunities for fun activities
